Professor Mehmet Chakkol

Dr. Mehmet Chakkol is an Associate Professor of Operations Management in Warwick Business School. He is currently the course director for Masters in Business at WBS. Prior to joining Warwick, Mehmet has worked at Cranfield School of Management where he also completed his PhD. His main research interests are within the areas of inter-organizational collaboration and complex operations in all sectors. Mehmet has delivered executive courses within public, private and third sectors including Rolls Royce, Network Rail, Emirates, Twinings, and RSPB amongst others.

In terms of future collaboration, Mehmet is interested in working with industry on collaborative projects based on a range of topics such as (including but not limited to); building collaborative networks, understanding collaborative skills and behaviours, the implications of service business models on supply chains, sustainable supply chain management, humanitarian operations, and in general understanding collaborative operations across complex network structures. Mehmet’s research has appeared in world leading journals as well as in media outlets.
